Is computer engineering with a half assed computer science with some electronical engineering ?

I'm having a debate in what I want to major in college. I love computers and it's killing me because I don't know what to choose between computer science and computer engineering. Sometimes I feel that computer science is more in depth with programming and such while computer engineering is just electrical engineering with some classes that relate to computer science but do not go as in depth with the programming as well as other topics that yo u can only get in computer science.

Is computer engineering with a half assed computer science with some electronical engineering ?
In my opinion (as a current computer engineering student), we tend to focus on a subset of electrical engineering such as VLSI, digital logic, embedded system, and such. There is more focus on digital rather than analog signals and less emphasis on power / control systems and transmission lines. There's also assembly language which I don't think most electrical engineers need to know. Not sure about that last one. :)
Reply:Computer engineers are electrical engineers that have additional training in the areas of software design and hardware-software integration

Computer science (or computing science) is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems
