Computer Science?

I am going to take computer science in COllege. I have started learning C++ while I am still in the 10 grade. What else should I study to get little bit or lot head of college. So I can get BS then go for MS

Computer Science?
C++ is a good choice and programming is usually a "wash out" area.

You need to be really sharp in math, especially Algebra. Most CS curricula require math through Calculus and Algebra is the "gatekeeper" for passing Calculus.

Focus on the math word problems. Most CS stuff is translating word problems to algorithms or pseudo-code.

Finally, learn as much as you can about the Windows operating system and Office programs. This is because your CS teacher will expect you to know how to use them from day one. Most of the students that have trouble in my freshmen classes are the ones that have trouble doing simple tasks like opening files, moving files. A lot of them can't find where they saved something.

Some minor stuff that you could learn: The Windows Command Shell, Operating System Adminstration, stuff like that
Reply:Computer science... C+++... hmmm! How about some core hardware classes..get some technical courses in.
Reply:get a good understanding of math. that would do you a world of good when you get into college. everything else follows math.
