Would it be difficult to get into med school after completing a degree in Computer Science and does anyone thing that doing so at 25 would not be a good move?
What would it be like to move into medicine after completing a degree in Computer Science?
My brain would warp. But for you, I couldn't say. What are your reasons for wanting to be a doctor? If it's because you want to help people and serve people by saving their lives than I know you could do it. The fact that you have a degree in computer science shows that you are intelligent enough, and motivated to achieve such a high goal as to becoming a doctor. But if money is your motivation, don't do it. You'd be an excellent target for law suits and you wouldn't be a good doctor. At the age of 25, you are in a perfect position to seek a second career. If you can't handle working on a cadaver and seeing so much blood, at least you will have your degree to fall back on. But I have to wonder, do you have a family depending on you? A wife, kids??? That would be the number one reason you wouldn't want to seek a medical career. You're family would suffer because your time would be consumed. But I commend you for your ambition! Good luck to you!
Reply:I am currently studying both and I am in the second year. It`s haaaard work but it pays off.You have a lot of options after you graduate and I encourage you to try
Reply:LOOK DUD IT'S (7) MORE YEARS OF SCHOOL, IF YOU'RE UP TO IT GO FOR IT! CONSIDER IT HIGHER EDUCATION
Reply:The best education after done CS is the Master program in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, BioScience, Medical Physics or Medical informatic etc.
Reply:I dont think it would be very difficult if you are indeed sure this is what you want to do. My mom always said you can do anything as long as you put your mind into it.
