Should a degree in computer science involve a requirement to take anatomy physiology?

I have enrolled in a college to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and they are requiring I take Anatomy Physiology I do not feel these two subjects correspond with one another. Anyone have ideas as to why this course would be required?

HCI (= Human-Computer Interaction) is a big and broad Comp Sci topic. If it is part of this college's curriculum, then you will need to understand hand/wrist mechanics, colour and movement perception, the normal range of hearing abilities, and the physiological effect of unsuitable screen positions and seating.
Reply:Well, I can't see any connections either. Are you sure that is a requirement? Have you read the course description, is it really what it sounds like? If it is, it could just be because your college is trying to make sure all of their majors have had a taste of all kinds of sciences, but usually they just make you do electives. Requiring that specific course sounds strange. You should ask someone at your school. Maybe it was a misprint or maybe there is a reason.
Reply:Which university you belong to?.

Normally its not necessary to have physiology or anatomy in your computer science degree.
