What do I need to do to prepare for AP Computer Science?

Ok, so I'm taking AP computer science this year and was wondering if anyone who has taken or is taking the class could tell me what I can do to start preparing for it?

What do I need to do to prepare for AP Computer Science?
Determine the type of programming language that will be used for the course. Buy a book based on this language or use internet references. A good book will help teach programming methodologies as well teach you language syntex. Both of which you will need to know for your class. If you are unsure of the language, try learning C or C++. These two languages are very good at helping a beginning progammer learn the basics of object oriented programming. A must-know when doing small or large scale projects. Hope this helps.
Reply:Well, usually you learn in class. But if you want a head start, I would first learn about how computers generally work and function. Then I'd start learning all the little details about that, like, why does stuff happen.
Reply:Visit this blog and your question will be answered. If you need more help will be glad to hear from you.
Reply:stalk the teacher
